Freshwater Society invites you to submit your best photo of the first signs of winter for the 2013 Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendar.
The 2012 Minnesota Weather Guide Environment Calendar
“Photos should relate to any phenological event taking place in our environment during late fall/early winter- such as migration, first snow events, lake or pond freeze over, changes in the landscape or animal behavior – such as hibernation or torpor, etc,” shares Freshwater Society.
One photograph will be chosen for publication in the late fall or winter pages of the 2013 Minnesota Weatherguide Environment™ Calendar. The winning photographer will be awarded copies of the calendar and promoted on Freshwater Society and KARE 11’s website and social media.
Hurry! The deadline is December 31st! The winners will be announced in January.
